Olivier Rousteing really knows what he's doing. P.s. if you haven't heard yet Balmain is doing a cheaper diffusion line called Pierre Balmain. Really excited for that! ) 

    The year 2012 brings many new exciting things. For fall we have a "P.O.C." as Brad from It's a Brad Brad World puts or pop of color. Black and white outfits with bright blue, bright red, or bright green. Even with outfits full of color, by color blocking we still can see that p.o.c. For Spring we see pastels. And may I say, I love pastels. Louis Vuitton, Chanel, Jil Sander, Proenza Schouler...etc all have pastels in their new spring 2012 ready to wear collections. Mint green, blush pink, banana yellow, all seen throughout the spring 2012 ready to wear collections and boy am I excited!!!

No not the british word for ” butt”. bum as in the way I look today. Like a homeless person. sure its a very comfy look, but still very uncreative on my part. I think its due to the snow. For the first time this year it is snowing. Yes it was 65 and I was walking my dog in shorts and today im wearing my eskimo jacket and uggs. Funny thing isn't it?

Chic Chicago

Yesterday I spent the entire day in Chicago with my best friend and my mum. The Chicago History Museum is having a new exhibit showcasing the genius work of Charles James. He designed from the 1920s til about the 1980s for all the Chicago Socialites. Here are my favorite pieces from the exhibit. The last photo is my favorite. I  love the way it fits the body, on the original piece, not the one shown above, the neckline is amazing its got a pentagon cut right around the neck. Beautiful really.

I bought this shirt last week at Gap. Its stripped white and mustard yellow and I thought I should finally wear it today! I changed the original outfit because I didnt like how the scarf necklace looked so instead I went with a nice emerald green scarf. The converse I custom,made back in eighth grade. They are made out of sweatshirt material. Today is monday guys!! Its a brad brad world is on! OMG.

Girl with the Dragon Tattoo

I just saw the girl with the dragon tattoo and i have to say Rooney is amazing. She embodies the role perfectly. so the post is inspired by that movie and her BAMF style. Remember Balmain spring 2011 ready to wear? Thats the first thing that popped in my head when i saw her style in the movie. That grunge, punk style with the leather jackets and pants. That RTW collection is what made me first fall in  love with Balmain. Christophe Dearnin is an amazing designer. I didnt feel like posting my outfit today because i looked like a bum. I wore jeans, a long sleeve shirt, a vest, and my bright red TOMS. BUUUUMMING. But! I did go shopping for my birthday outfit and I found a mustard yellow sweater at Forever 21! GASP! I know right, i finally found one. I also found a blue and white striped sweater and a navy blue skirt. All will be shown in due time ;)
